I ordered a necklace from Le Petite Jewelry recently. Mona makes everything herself. You should check out her site, she has many gorgeous items!

I have 2 girlfriends whose birthdays are coming soon so I took this chance to customize something for them. :) Of course the one in the middle is mine!! Sorry the picture is kinda blurry but I absolutely love it!! It is so hard for me to find jewelry with my initial.

I wore it to work. The purple scrub is my uniform.

I took advantage of the Free Shipping Code that Shop N' Chomp had posted last week. I placed an order for my favorite hand cream and a foundation that Amy recently did a review for. I have not ordered with DHC for over a year but they still gave me a loyalty discount and now I'm back up to Level 5!! Haha....They are tempting me to purchase more... Yes, I'm greedy. I ordered last Friday and it arrived yesterday! One word: FAST!

I'm finally posting after a few weeks... Emily had tagged me but I had to do some searching. How do I see myself dressing in the future? Where do I want to go?

The rules of this award is to list 6 interesting facts:

1. I like to read. I think it started around 4th or 5th grade when a teacher purchased American Girl books... Withing a year or so, I could read a adult novel (not kids books or young adult) in a day. Teachers that chose me to read out loud has always complained that I read tooooo fast and that I am toooooo robotic! LOL! I would love to have more time to read nowadays... BTW, my fav AG was Samantha.

2. I have so many subscriptions to fashion magazines, a dresser that is overflowing, and a walk-in-closet that can fit no more, full of pretty girly things but I wear the same type of clothes most of the time: a pair of jeans and a solid colored t-shirt. I own skirts and shorts but I don't like my legs so I'm actually whiter than both my White co-workers (yes, we did a comparison!!) because they don't touch day-light. I am considered very boring because I am matchy-matchy all the time but I like what I like so what can I do? I can't please everyone. A site that I buy from a lot: Shirt.Woot. 3. I love soups/stews. Even when it's 100 degrees out, I don't mind having it. I never understood how my father could drink a hot cup of tea every morning even during the summer until recently. A few of my favorites are Clam Chowder from Outback Steakhouse, Haemul Jeongol (해물전골), and Chicken Abalone (Chinese version!!).

4. I used to have a beauty mark on my left cheek but I had it removed by laser a few years ago.

6. I am a ABC, American born Chinese. Technically not true because I was not born in the US although I have been here since being 2 months old. I am called ABC by friends who has attended school for a few years in Hong Kong.... I am pretty fluent in Cantonese (I have no accent but I may not understand some harder words) and it is all thanks to TVB!!! LOL! I grew up watching dramas. :) 2 of my current fav even though kinda old:

I do not currently have many books on my bookshelf besides textbooks, loads of magazines, and cookbooks. All my books are packed away in my parent's attic because I only have 1 bookshelf in my apartment. All the books I have read the past few months were from the public library in my town.

2. What DVD's are on your favorite shelf?

Haha... I don't have a favorite shelf because I only have 1 shelf. I don't own many DVD's... I have a lot of Studio Ghibli films such as My Neighbor Totoro and Howl's Moving Castle. I used to have Netflix before so I never really needed to purchase an actual DVD and now I have On Demand!

3. What are your 2 favorite cookbooks?

Hong Hap Tang (Simple Mussel Soup), Bulgogi (served with rice and many other Korean sides), and paht bing soo!

I bought this product a few months back in the Amore Shop in Palisades Park, NJ for $20.

Doubly Reinforced, Highly Enriched Strawberry Yogurt Care

-This massage pack makes you feel the highly enriched strawberry yogurt texture without worrying about runny contents.

-Yogurt extract makes skin soft and strawberry extract gives a clean and healthy appearance.

-The larger capsule contains mineral water (with tomato, kiwi, grape, banana, an lemon extracts and essential minerals including calcium, magnesium and zinc) and lactic acid bacteria for an added nutrition and moisture to your skin.

-Vitamin E ingredients contained in the smaller capsule are absorbed into skin to make it smoother and healthier.

It is also important to know:

Strawberry:

Yogurt:
Contains Vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, protein, calcium and yeast, nourishes and repairs skin, giving it elasticity. It can also reduce pore size, improve overall skin surface and give it a healthy glow.

My Thoughts:

Smells so so so good!! I have been using this 2-3x a week this whole summer. It feels especially good on hot summer days if you have this product in the refrigerator. :) Just as the description states, I love how I do not have to worry about runny contents. It is good to have this around because sometimes I am out of yogurt or sometimes I rather eat my yogurt then slather it on my face (said by the little piggy inside of me XD). Massaging until the capsules burst feels kinda like a mini-facial which I find to be really relaxing after a long day of work. Plus, regular facial massage can help improve blood circulation and and prevent discoloration. In the end, my skin is indeed smooth, pores are visibly smaller, and skin is very plump from being moisturized. :) All these gives me a healthier complexion.

Overall, I can live without this product but it is very convenient to have around if you do not always have yogurt in the fridge. I have to say that if I did not have this product, I would not really spend so much time doing a massage on my face. I'm pretty sure that there are cheaper products that does the same things but all in one product?.

Harvest Moon Pre-Order Goodies!!!

Sometime ago, I mentioned my Harvest Moon addiction here. I also mentioned that there will be 2 new games, which I have now discovered will release on November 10.

I could not find pictures of the game before but I found it on Gamestop. I usually order all my games on Amazon because I get it in 2 days and there is no tax but this time, there is no free gift with purchase on Amazon but with Gamestop. :) Wanna see?

Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands comes with a free HM pig!!!! I want it!! On the Gamestop page, it says: "Reserve Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands and receive a plush Harvest Moon pig. We know what you're thinking, and that's why we guarantee this plush is 100% swine flu free. Now you have no excuse not to buy this game." I was laughing. :) So cute!

The Amazon page mentions befriending ducks, monkeys, and badgers!!! Attention HM fans!! New animals!!! I'm squealing with joy! I can't wait to see the ducks and monkeys!!! :)

Harvest Moon: Animal Parade comes with a duck!!! Gamestop says "this cute duck doesn't contain any duck feathers, making this premium 100% irony free." It's alright to me. I'm not as interested in this game as I am for Sunshine Islands because the DS is portable.

My Day Off

I'm back from my parent's house and I spent the whole day trying to read up on my blog subscriptions... and cleaning.... and now trying to relax.... This post will kinda be random...

I have a thing with strong scented products... If it is too floral... I will get a headache... So, when I saw these 2 Johnson's Body Care Lotion's, I didn't even hesitate to put it into my shopping cart. It did help that it each came with a bonus Body Wash. :)

A deluxe sample of Clarins Multi-Active Day Early Wrinkle Correction Cream that I redeemed at Sephora (15mL). The SA was amazed at how big it was and so was I!!

One day this week, I had some time to kill before heading to work so I stopped by Duane Reade. This item really caught my attention. Maybe it is because of the packaging or the price ($12.99)? I could not really get a good picture of it because one of the SA were following a customer around.... I have never heard of Einstein Lip Therapy so I looked it up and found this site. I have a lucky subscription and I don't remember seeing this... Haha... No biggie. I will probably pick this up now the next time I stop by again. I can't wait! I love lip products!! :)

I have never seen this type of M&Ms before but I love it! This Limited Edition Coconut M&Ms is milder than the regular and each candy piece is bigger. Sorry, my co-workers and I ate it too fast to remember to take pictures of the actual candy. :)
