Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Pack Review

I bought this product a few months back in the Amore Shop in Palisades Park, NJ for $20.

Doubly Reinforced, Highly Enriched Strawberry Yogurt Care

-This massage pack makes you feel the highly enriched strawberry yogurt texture without worrying about runny contents.
-Yogurt extract makes skin soft and strawberry extract gives a clean and healthy appearance.
-The larger capsule contains mineral water (with tomato, kiwi, grape, banana, an lemon extracts and essential minerals including calcium, magnesium and zinc) and lactic acid bacteria for an added nutrition and moisture to your skin.
-Vitamin E ingredients contained in the smaller capsule are absorbed into skin to make it smoother and healthier.
-Simple massaging at home turns dry skin supple and moisturized. It is recommended to keep this product refrigerated during the summer.

The above info was taken from pamphlet from inside of the box.

It is also important to know:

Strawberry:
Fruit that contains the highest concentration of Vitamin C, an anti-oxidant and helps promote production of collagen protein. Can purify pores and epidermis, softening skin and removing dullness, yellowness of skin, giving you a healthy glow.

Yogurt:
Contains Vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, protein, calcium and yeast, nourishes and repairs skin, giving it elasticity. It can also reduce pore size, improve overall skin surface and give it a healthy glow.

My Thoughts:

Smells so so so good!! I have been using this 2-3x a week this whole summer. It feels especially good on hot summer days if you have this product in the refrigerator. :) Just as the description states, I love how I do not have to worry about runny contents. It is good to have this around because sometimes I am out of yogurt or sometimes I rather eat my yogurt then slather it on my face (said by the little piggy inside of me XD). Massaging until the capsules burst feels kinda like a mini-facial which I find to be really relaxing after a long day of work. Plus, regular facial massage can help improve blood circulation and and prevent discoloration. In the end, my skin is indeed smooth, pores are visibly smaller, and skin is very plump from being moisturized. :) All these gives me a healthier complexion.

Overall, I can live without this product but it is very convenient to have around if you do not always have yogurt in the fridge. I have to say that if I did not have this product, I would not really spend so much time doing a massage on my face. I'm pretty sure that there are cheaper products that does the same things but all in one product?.

My Daily Beauty Routine

I got tagged by the pretty Ena to do a daily beauty routine so here goes.

First up will be the items used the most in my current (Seasonal and depends on what I like at the time) Day & Night Skincare Routine .

Starting from the Left going clockwise:

1. Dove Gentle Exfoliating Daily Facial Cleansing Pillows - gentle enough to be used everyday. The cleansing pillow has 2 sides for gentle cleansing or for exfoliation.

2. Laneige Professional Makeup Remover Multi Cleanser - Makeup removing, foam cleansing and micro scrubbing. Honestly, my skin feels really clean after using this but I feel a tad bit on the dry side and the smell is a little strong...

3. The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial Wash - To help prevent blemishes.

4. Etude House Happy Teatime Peach Tea Cleansing Foam - I love the smell so this stays in the shower for the morning.

5. DHC Deep Cleansing Oil - I love this but I don't like using it around the eye area because it gives me fuzzy vision after washing... so I have #6.

6. Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover - Removes even waterproof mascara. Will probably try something else after finishing...

7. Dove SkinVitalizer - Use with #1 to better exfoliate with mechanical vibrations.

Number 1+7, 2, & 3 really depends on the weather and how much makeup I'm wearing for the day.

Starting from the Left going clockwise:

1. Shiseido Pureness Balancing Softener Alcohol Free - Used in conjuction with #2 & #6.

2. Shiseido Pureness Matifying Moisturizer Oil-Free - I use this as my day moisturizer.

3. Laneige Eye Designer Cream - I use this at night only because it is on the heavy side so it take longer to absorb.

4. Kevin Beautymaker Aquamarine Hydrating Eye Serum - I use this in the morning because it is light, hydrating, and absorbs relatively fast for faster makeup application. :D

5. Laneige Water Sleeping Pack Plus - My current love!! Last step of my nightly ritual to help lock in all the moisture at night to wake up with plump-hydrated skin.

6. DHC Platinum Silver Nanocolloid - I use this at night after

Now that I'm typing everything up, I'm beginning to think I'm being too complicated but I don't get huge breakouts... :D So I can't be too crazy!

My current Daily Makeup Routine:

Starting from the Left going clockwise:

1. Etude House Top 10 V-Line BB Cream with SPF 27 - I use this more often because it covers blemishes fairly well so I don't need that much concealer.

2. Laneige Snow Crystal Dual (with concealer in the top white section) Founation with SPF 22 in 23 Sand Beige

3. MAC Prep and Prime Skin Base Veil - I was told by a SA that this helps the foundation last longer... I use this when I don't use #1.

4. Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in 20 Peach Satin - I switch between this and #5.

5. TheFaceShop Illuminating Cushion Blusher 01 Pink

6. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Plus

I just realized that I didn't even open the blush to show the color when I posted my TFS haul a while back.

TFS Illuminating Cushion Blusher 01 Pink
A very pretty pearly/shimmery pink. Sorry I couldn't get a great picture.

Starting from the Left going clockwise:

1. Kevin Beautymaker Princess Repairing Lip Balm - I love this! Smells great! Looks Pretty!! & Feels great on the lips!!!

2. MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack - For days when I have time to apply it and when I have a clean brush.

3. MAC Prep + Prime Lash - I have Asian lashes...

4. Avon Ultra Luxury Brow Liner in Light Golden Brown

5. MAC Pearlglide Eye Liner in Black Russian - Very pretty black liner with shimmer/glitter. Waterproof.

6. Maybelline Great Lash in Very Black - I carry this with me so I won't cry if I lose it.

7. The Body Shop Divide & Multiply Mascara in 01

8. UDPP

9. MAC Suntints Liquid Lip Balm with SPF 20 in Full of Grace

10. Etude House Precious Mineral BB Compact - I carry this around with me for blotting...

MAC Retrospeck (Lustre). My daily e/s.

Wow! That was long... I never realized that I use so much on a daily basis. Now I want to tag anyone who is reading to do this. It was fun reading Ena's and learning about new products. :D

So I went grocery shopping last night and picked up these 2 items that were not in the store before... Or maybe I was oblivious... Each were less then $4 so why not?

L- St. Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Scrub for Blemish & Black Head Control - I never knew that they had this formula. The tube says New Look so it is probably not new. Anyways, I used it already. It smells so good and leaves me so clean and soft. I love it!

R- Freeman Facial Clay Mask Avocado & Oatmeal - Have not tried tried this yet but is supposed to "purge pores & firm and smoothe skin". For the days when I don't have an actual avocado in my fridge.

Last thing to show..
I want everyone to meet.........................
.

.
.............last night's dinner! haha! I was a little iffy at the missing tip on the claw but I didn't want to go back to Shoprite... My husband asked me if it was still moving and I said yes. Who would buy dead lobster? It was still moving in the bag. My husband felt bad for the lobster then because I was going to butcher it ( I had to cut it up to make Cantonese Style)... I didn't take pictures of the cooking process because it was my first time cutting and cooking lobster... I was not afraid of the lobster but it was disturbing when it still moved after I separated its head from its body with the head cut in half..... End result: Yummy in the tummy!!

Laneige Water Sleeping Pact Plus

This product is one of my first Laneige items and I am in love with it. Read here about my skin trouble... I got this product from the Amore shop in Palisades Park, NJ for $20 for 80mL/2.7 FL. OZ.

Laneige Water Sleeping Pact Plus is a gel based cream light enough to wear to bed for all night moisture renewal and revitalized skin in the morning. During sleeping, the conductor of Vitamin E gives you a vibrant and healthy skin texture.

According to the Laneige website:
-Convenient gel-typed sleeping pack that provides vitality to the skin with an intensive supply of hydration while sleeping.
-Vitamin E derivative ingredients function to wake up tired skin with vitality.
-Himalaya Snow Renew Water that contains 70 kinds of snow minerals provides nutrition and vitality to the skin and realizes the transparent and pure skin from deep inside of skin.
-Pentavitin-R ingredient known as moisture magnet provides the sufficient hydration into skin and increases the water retaining power. It provides moisturized skin until the morning by improving water retention power inside skin.

My thoughts:
The smell is light and pleasant. This product has helped my previous dry skin into my normal skin. Now I can use lotions on my face again thanks to this Water Sleeping Pack Plus. I still use it 1x a week. Sometimes if my cheeks feel a little dry, I only apply it to that area before I apply my base makeup. Hydrated skin = happy skin! :D I definitely give this 5/5 and would buy this again!!

Too much!

Last Thursday, I picked up my Coastal Scents package. I got a 15 e/s palette for me and a friend. I also got a bottle of the EZ Pressing Medium and some extra MAC size empty e/s pans. CS threw in a mica sample pigment in Tibetian Ochre.

And so I started to press some Missha Eye Glam Powder. L-R: Cerulean Blue, Pistachio Green, Orchid Purple, Shell Pink, and Moon Vanilla.

The hubby is starting to worry about me...

Picked up a Laneige Basic_Ex Set for Dry Skin Type... They had a set where there is only the toner and the emulsion but is the same price of this set so of course I am going to get the one with more items. :D It contained a Power Essential Skin Refiner (all skin), a Balancing Emulsion (dry skin), a Water Bank Cream 1, and some sample size items. Going to finish my Shiseido 1 2 3 Pureness Oil Control Mattifiant Set from Sephora first... Even though I got this Laneige Set.... I still want to get the Skinfood Peach Sake Skin Care Line.... What am I going to do? I am buying too much...

Got a box of Mamonde Brightening Sheet Mask (4 masks), a Laneige Eye Designer Cream, a Snow Crystal Dual Foundation with SPF 22 in 23 Sand Beige, a Multi Cleanser (for my lazy days because it removes makeup, cleanses, and exfoliates), and some eyelashes. :D

The SA surprised me when she whipped out a box of green tea as one of the free gifts.

Next, I went to across the street to TFS and picked up even more things... I picked up the entire foot care line because it sounded good to me. The scent is Orange Mint and I got the Foot and Heel Cream, Foot and Leg Gel, Foot Mist, and Foot Scrub. (Gotta prepare for the summer! ) Also got a Black Gel Liner (but I got mad pissed off when I got home to find that it was all dried up! Got my husband to stop by the next day to try to exchange it but the same SA gave him B/S saying I have to mix some kind of oil to make use it again because all gel liners dry up with time.... So he just got me store credit on my membership card... Back to the haul, I picked up a Real Secret Shimmering Cream, Oil-Free BB Cream, a Eye Liner Brush, 2 Illuminating Cushion Blushers in 01 Pink and 03 Violet (02 was orange so I did not get it...), and of course, more eyelashes.

Also got some sheet masks... Felt like I should have waited the week before.... At Walgreens, they go for 2/$5. Alot in TFS is only $2 and some $1.50. I got a Rose and Pine, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramide, Acerola, Tea Tree and Bergamot, and a Pomegranate.

Both stores threw in a lot of samples but a lot of it was of something I have already so no point in posting pictures.

My CherryCulture order came too! I'm not disappointed with the pigmentation of the products but I am disappointed with the color sample that I went by when I ordered. I got:
- NYX Lip Smaking Fun Colors in Frosted Beige, Peach, and Tea Rose.
- NYX Girls Glosses in Apricot, Sparkle, Soap Opera Queen, Peach, and Strawberry.
- NYX Concealer in a Jar in Beige and Medium.
- NYX Concealer Stick in Beige, Medium, and Green.
- NYX Ultra Pearl Mania in Baby Pink, Lilac Pearl, Silver, Jade, and Turquoise (the Turqoise looks blue! Biggest color difference!)
- NYX Chrome E/S in Blue Eyes, Green, Golden Peach, Oro, and Goddess.

I also got a package from the lovely Chiara!! I wanted her MAC Parrot and Aquavert so we swapped and she threw in so many extra goodies!! Thank you so much Chiara for swapping with me!!

It has been a while....

I have been pretty busy this month... It felt like exam after exam... Even though I have not posted anything the past few weeks, I have been reading alot... and still buying alot (according to the husband)... Soon, it will be all over and then summer vacation.... I will probably just work throughout the summer to support this new make-up addiction....

I'm going to start off with the Dior Parisian Lights Palette that I had my husband buy me because Chiara looked so pretty with it on! I got it from Sephora and it came with a little Dior Mascara!! I love the colors so much!! (Sorry I dont' take very good pictures!!)

In a separate purchase, I got my first Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion with the Sephora Beauty Insiders 15% about a week or two ago..

Also about a week or two ago, CVS had a buy one get one free sale for all Maybelline products so I got a few items to try because one of my co-workers seem to like the Mineral Powder foundation so much.... The pink one on the left is a blush in gentle pink and the right pot is the nude light 4...

I also bought the (L) Mineral Power Liquid Foundation in Light 4 and the (R) Dream Liquid Mousse in Sandy Beige Medium 1 for the summer. This one felt really thick which I did not really like the  feeling of but it did a better job at concealing my redness... The Mineral Foundation is very airy on my skin which felt so much better than the Mousse... I overall prefer the Mineral Foundation because I can still cover blemishes with a concealer and not feel too caked up...

Sometime ago, the husband got me Prada Sunglasses!! I have protection for my eyes now!!!

Guess what I found for my cousin's daughter Carina?? A Hello Kitty DVD!!! I am going to visit them when they come back from Taiwan and present this little gift to her. I hope she will like this gift (but who does not like HK???)...

Hehe... Moving on to food... I got a tomago-yaki pan from amazon... I am going to try making some soon hopefully and post some pictures...

Last friday, the husband stopped by the Amore Store in Palisades Park for me and picked up 3 items for me... I tried 2/3 products so far and the products so far has really saved my skin.. I really messed up by skin last summer when I went tanning in a salon for the first time ever in my life... My skin has been so dry ever since... Throughout the winter, I had to reapply cream a few times a day.... I tried the Strawberry Peeling Pack and then used the Water Sleeping Pact over this past weekend and my skin stayed moist throughout the day!! I am now in love with these 2 products. The product I have not tried yet is the Strawberry Yogurt Pack. I also got some free samples!!!

Sometimes, I wish I was male so that I would not need to support such female needs but being female is so much more fun!!
