My Daily Beauty Routine

I got tagged by the pretty Ena to do a daily beauty routine so here goes.

First up will be the items used the most in my current (Seasonal and depends on what I like at the time) Day & Night Skincare Routine .

Starting from the Left going clockwise:

1. Dove Gentle Exfoliating Daily Facial Cleansing Pillows - gentle enough to be used everyday. The cleansing pillow has 2 sides for gentle cleansing or for exfoliation.

2. Laneige Professional Makeup Remover Multi Cleanser - Makeup removing, foam cleansing and micro scrubbing. Honestly, my skin feels really clean after using this but I feel a tad bit on the dry side and the smell is a little strong...

3. The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial Wash - To help prevent blemishes.

4. Etude House Happy Teatime Peach Tea Cleansing Foam - I love the smell so this stays in the shower for the morning.

5. DHC Deep Cleansing Oil - I love this but I don't like using it around the eye area because it gives me fuzzy vision after washing... so I have #6.

6. Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover - Removes even waterproof mascara. Will probably try something else after finishing...

7. Dove SkinVitalizer - Use with #1 to better exfoliate with mechanical vibrations.

Number 1+7, 2, & 3 really depends on the weather and how much makeup I'm wearing for the day.

Starting from the Left going clockwise:

1. Shiseido Pureness Balancing Softener Alcohol Free - Used in conjuction with #2 & #6.

2. Shiseido Pureness Matifying Moisturizer Oil-Free - I use this as my day moisturizer.

3. Laneige Eye Designer Cream - I use this at night only because it is on the heavy side so it take longer to absorb.

4. Kevin Beautymaker Aquamarine Hydrating Eye Serum - I use this in the morning because it is light, hydrating, and absorbs relatively fast for faster makeup application. :D

5. Laneige Water Sleeping Pack Plus - My current love!! Last step of my nightly ritual to help lock in all the moisture at night to wake up with plump-hydrated skin.

6. DHC Platinum Silver Nanocolloid - I use this at night after

Now that I'm typing everything up, I'm beginning to think I'm being too complicated but I don't get huge breakouts... :D So I can't be too crazy!

My current Daily Makeup Routine:

Starting from the Left going clockwise:

1. Etude House Top 10 V-Line BB Cream with SPF 27 - I use this more often because it covers blemishes fairly well so I don't need that much concealer.

2. Laneige Snow Crystal Dual (with concealer in the top white section) Founation with SPF 22 in 23 Sand Beige

3. MAC Prep and Prime Skin Base Veil - I was told by a SA that this helps the foundation last longer... I use this when I don't use #1.

4. Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in 20 Peach Satin - I switch between this and #5.

5. TheFaceShop Illuminating Cushion Blusher 01 Pink

6. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Plus

I just realized that I didn't even open the blush to show the color when I posted my TFS haul a while back.

TFS Illuminating Cushion Blusher 01 Pink
A very pretty pearly/shimmery pink. Sorry I couldn't get a great picture.

Starting from the Left going clockwise:

1. Kevin Beautymaker Princess Repairing Lip Balm - I love this! Smells great! Looks Pretty!! & Feels great on the lips!!!

2. MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack - For days when I have time to apply it and when I have a clean brush.

3. MAC Prep + Prime Lash - I have Asian lashes...

4. Avon Ultra Luxury Brow Liner in Light Golden Brown

5. MAC Pearlglide Eye Liner in Black Russian - Very pretty black liner with shimmer/glitter. Waterproof.

6. Maybelline Great Lash in Very Black - I carry this with me so I won't cry if I lose it.

7. The Body Shop Divide & Multiply Mascara in 01

8. UDPP

9. MAC Suntints Liquid Lip Balm with SPF 20 in Full of Grace

10. Etude House Precious Mineral BB Compact - I carry this around with me for blotting...

MAC Retrospeck (Lustre). My daily e/s.

Wow! That was long... I never realized that I use so much on a daily basis. Now I want to tag anyone who is reading to do this. It was fun reading Ena's and learning about new products. :D

So I went grocery shopping last night and picked up these 2 items that were not in the store before... Or maybe I was oblivious... Each were less then $4 so why not?

L- St. Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Scrub for Blemish & Black Head Control - I never knew that they had this formula. The tube says New Look so it is probably not new. Anyways, I used it already. It smells so good and leaves me so clean and soft. I love it!

R- Freeman Facial Clay Mask Avocado & Oatmeal - Have not tried tried this yet but is supposed to "purge pores & firm and smoothe skin". For the days when I don't have an actual avocado in my fridge.

Last thing to show..
I want everyone to meet.........................

.............last night's dinner! haha! I was a little iffy at the missing tip on the claw but I didn't want to go back to Shoprite... My husband asked me if it was still moving and I said yes. Who would buy dead lobster? It was still moving in the bag. My husband felt bad for the lobster then because I was going to butcher it ( I had to cut it up to make Cantonese Style)... I didn't take pictures of the cooking process because it was my first time cutting and cooking lobster... I was not afraid of the lobster but it was disturbing when it still moved after I separated its head from its body with the head cut in half..... End result: Yummy in the tummy!!

Randomness +

I really suck at naming post titles.... Anyhow....

I came across a really cute nail blog! I am now looking at ordering tons of nail art supplies.... :D

Lookie at one of her creations! So cute!!

Yes. I had to choose this one because I love Totoro! :D

A while back, I did a swap with Chiara and she also gave me a Kose Softymo Charcoal Nose Strip with AHA in it. I tried it and now I can't go back to Biore. I ordered a crazy amount of Pore Strips off ebay. It is not the one with the AHA in it but it is still a great pore strip. It was cheaper buying bulk: approx $20 for 6 packs which contained 10 pieces versus Biore from a local drugstore for $8 for only 6 pieces.

So I recently ordered a Studio Eyelash Curler from ELF. It is not for me.. It barely gets to my lashes.... Sigh... Do I have wierd eyes? No worries.... The shopaholic in me ordered a Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler around the same time (also from ebay) for $8.50 shipped. Haha... I thought that I could leave one home and carry one around with me... I guess not.

I also picked up a this 3-in-1 Cotton Set...mainly for the case. I got tired of going to separate packages to get things so everything in one! So until I find a cuter container for everything, this will have to do. Plus, it only cost $1.

Another $1 item:

Now onto giveaways...

Mona is doing a 200th follower giveaway. Her creations are so purrty!!

Rules:
1. Must be a follower
2. Tell me your favorite metal in your comment, i.e. 14k gold, sterling silver, rose gold, brass, copper etc
3. A link/post back to this blog on your blog (ok if you don't have a blog)

Contest ends Friday August 28th at Midnight (EST). Winners will be chosen randomly.

Check out the 1st place prize!

And the 2nd:

So pretty right?

Denysia is having giveaway too! Her blog is so cute!! Check it out here. It ends on Sept 10th.

May is having her 50th follower giveaway! It's her first giveaway. Check it out here.

I should really try to stop shopping for a while.... I'm now expecting a pretty package from GMarket.... I am going to keep it a surprise but I can't wait till it gets here!!!

It has been a while....

I have been pretty busy this month... It felt like exam after exam... Even though I have not posted anything the past few weeks, I have been reading alot... and still buying alot (according to the husband)... Soon, it will be all over and then summer vacation.... I will probably just work throughout the summer to support this new make-up addiction....

I'm going to start off with the Dior Parisian Lights Palette that I had my husband buy me because Chiara looked so pretty with it on! I got it from Sephora and it came with a little Dior Mascara!! I love the colors so much!! (Sorry I dont' take very good pictures!!)

In a separate purchase, I got my first Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion with the Sephora Beauty Insiders 15% about a week or two ago..

Also about a week or two ago, CVS had a buy one get one free sale for all Maybelline products so I got a few items to try because one of my co-workers seem to like the Mineral Powder foundation so much.... The pink one on the left is a blush in gentle pink and the right pot is the nude light 4...

I also bought the (L) Mineral Power Liquid Foundation in Light 4 and the (R) Dream Liquid Mousse in Sandy Beige Medium 1 for the summer. This one felt really thick which I did not really like the  feeling of but it did a better job at concealing my redness... The Mineral Foundation is very airy on my skin which felt so much better than the Mousse... I overall prefer the Mineral Foundation because I can still cover blemishes with a concealer and not feel too caked up...

Sometime ago, the husband got me Prada Sunglasses!! I have protection for my eyes now!!!

Guess what I found for my cousin's daughter Carina?? A Hello Kitty DVD!!! I am going to visit them when they come back from Taiwan and present this little gift to her. I hope she will like this gift (but who does not like HK???)...

Hehe... Moving on to food... I got a tomago-yaki pan from amazon... I am going to try making some soon hopefully and post some pictures...

Last friday, the husband stopped by the Amore Store in Palisades Park for me and picked up 3 items for me... I tried 2/3 products so far and the products so far has really saved my skin.. I really messed up by skin last summer when I went tanning in a salon for the first time ever in my life... My skin has been so dry ever since... Throughout the winter, I had to reapply cream a few times a day.... I tried the Strawberry Peeling Pack and then used the Water Sleeping Pact over this past weekend and my skin stayed moist throughout the day!! I am now in love with these 2 products. The product I have not tried yet is the Strawberry Yogurt Pack. I also got some free samples!!!

Sometimes, I wish I was male so that I would not need to support such female needs but being female is so much more fun!!
