MAC To The Beach Haul Part 1

I have been waiting forever since The Muse blogged about this collection back in Feb here. So this collection finally hit the MAC website on May 25th. I forgot about it until sometime during the afternoon and one of the lipglass that I wanted was already sold out!!! I was crying like crazy to my husband >.< .... I decided to try my luck in-stores but then I got an email from MAC for free shipping for any purchase so I checked out the website again and behold!!! The lipglass was back in stock!!! So basically, I placed another order.

I want to mention that I am now buying items that I will use instead of just buying things just because it is pretty to collect. I was originally going to buy 2 of the Marine Life Highlight Powder so that I would have 1 to use and 1 to stare at but in the end, I decided that I could put that money to better use.

Since I started to get into makeup/skincare, my collection has increased dramatically. I went from (A) a simple Caboodle's case to (B) the Caboodles + a 6 drawer Sterilite container to (C) the Caboodles + a 6 drawer Sterilite container + the TS-22... This does not include the items that I use daily that is on top of this (I tried to use the drawers like Richie did here) and in the bathroom. It is getting a bit scary to me. The hubby does not complain but I need to figure out what's the next step that I can take to organize because everything is overflowing again. Anyone got suggestions?

So I received my gmarket order about 2 weeks ago but did not have time to do the swatches till now.

I got the Castledew Diacut Eyes in BE905 and BE906. The box for BE906 is in white. I'm not sure if it is limited edition or just a special package compared to the typical box on the right. Also pictured but not swatched is the Castledew Watershot Foundation.

G-Market Mini Haul

Taking some time off from studying....G-market is so addictive... I can spend hours browsing if I had the time... My last order was Aug 09 where I ordered tons of Castledew products... Well, this order is again of Castledew orders but I didn't go so crazy. The past few months that I have been away from blogging, I learned to control the compulsive clicking of the mouse! No, I'm lying... I wish I learned that. I still add stuff into the shopping cart like there is no tomorrow but before I check out, I try hard to question: do I need it? or do I want it?

So I ordered a Castledew Watershot Foundation and 2 out of 5 new eyeshadow palettes. I decided on:

Even though I did not order the other palettes, I want to mention 2 other.

This is the M601 and it is gorgeous even though I am not much of a brown e/s person. I first saw swatches here and fell in love. I will probably order when I graduate because this looks like it could be my everyday work e/s palette.

The other that I will eventually order is the M602. The seller on Gmarket did not have a great picture so googled it. I found this Korean blog here and here is a picture from her site:

Isn't it gorgeous? The swatches from the blog is very pretty but I find that it might be too light and sheer for my taste. It probably won't stop me from collecting it eventually..

Should I post swatches when I receive my order after finals??

Hello!!!!!!!! Time sure has sure passed rather quickly. I have been really busy the past few months because of school. Note to self: NEVER take 2 intensive writing courses at the same time!! I didn't completely disappear, I have been "ghosting" around if that's a term. It's just 2 1/2 more weeks and this semester is over. I will hopefully be blogging more once I'm done with finals.

Since I have been busy lately I didn't really have time to organize a giveaway for blogging for (almost) 1 full year. Will definitely be doing one after finals so stay tuned!

Hello! It has been some time since I posted... I have been really busy with work and family... It does not help that I have been on and off sick. I will be even busier after this upcoming week because family is officially moving to the US so I will have to help them get situated.

Although my boss knows of my shopaholic problem, she was still "evil" enough to give me a coupon for 20% off at Coach Outlet stores recently... A friend and I went to Jackson Premium Outlets in Jackson, NJ just for Coach... I could not find a decent tote or satchel that I wanted but the damage to my wallet was still heavy...

The bottom 2 has already been given away was gifts.... I can't decide if I want to keep the pink for myself or not.. :) I also cannot believe I actually paid $9 for just a Y...

On the same day, we went to Jersey Shore Premium Outlets in Tinton Falls, NJ just for the CCO.... Need I say more about my wallet??

There is a tiny flaw.... It's brand new though...

Since I have been searching for a new bag for some time and still have not found one that I love and that is within my price range, I caved and bought a bag from OLD NAVY:

I find myself trying to stay away from the internet as much as possible lately because I am tempted less to buy... With the Holiday Collections coming out, I really need to stay away. So what have I been doing recently? Not buying for one (groceries don't count right?) I have been:

Knitting this design was a little irritating because I kept losing count.... I didn't finish this one but I will be doing this design with ivory wool.

My husband surprised me again... I didn't realize that he came home last night bearing goodies.

So I have been using this for a few days now... I got it for less then $5 because it was on sale last week @ Shoprite.

From the back of the bottle:

The gentle foam cleans deep down to the pores to instantly dissolve dirt, oil and makeup, even the hidden traces you can't see-- to leave your skin perfectly clean and refreshed.

-Gently dissolves even waterproof makeup.

-Rinses clean without leaving behind any oily residue that can clog your pores.

-Gentle enough for use around the sensitive eye area.

Ingredients: Water, Sodium C-14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Glycerin, Disodium Lauroamphodiacetate, Polysorbate 10, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Heylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, PPG-15 Stearyl Ether, Citric Acid, Isocetheth-20, Fragrance, Methylparaben, Tetrasodium EDTA, Xanthum GUM, Propylparaben, Ethylparaben, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract

My Thoughts:

Smells good. Had to use multiple pumps to feel clean (uses alot of product in 1 washing). It is really foamy! :) Does not remove eyeliner efficiently (I tried with MAC Fluidline, a MAC Pencil Liner, and some random Drugstore Brands)... Had to use eye makeup remover before or after to completely remove all traces... Beware because it burns if you get it into your eye! Rinses away leaving me feeling fresh and clean except eye area of course.

I'm not too crazy about this product. It does a good job removing my face makeup (foundation, blush, etc) but when it comes to the eye area, I think that it was horrible...

I rate it 3/5. I would not buy this again because at least Makeup Removing Wipes does not burn me and it removes eye makeup better although still not completely for me.

Today's post is kind of random....

I do not need to have a cup of coffee everyday but when I do, I'm kinda picky about how mine is made. There are 2 Dunkin Donut and 2 McDonalds by my workplace. I do not like either's coffee but if I really need to, I would buy from DD because they have French Vanilla. One location is a bit farther from work so by the time I get to work, I feel as if my coffee is cold. However, they do make it better than the DD that is closer to work. I have to mention that I like my coffee light with cream and verrrrry sweet so I get irritated when it's not night or sweet especially when I need caffiene.

I love H-Mart! I can get so many Asian vegetables and other groceries without going all the way out to NY to Chinatown. They mainly sell Korean food and a tiny section of Chinese condiments so I do have to make a trip to NY once in a while. Some of the things I buy bulk are the instant coffee packets.

These 2 packets has the cream and sugar in it all ready. I only add 3/4 cup water and it is sweet enough. The top packet is plain coffee and the bottom you need hot water to dissolve the contents. I love them both because it's convenient (at least for me!) :)

I went grocery shopping yesterday and I stumbled upon:

@.@!!! I have not tried this powder form yet but I'm sure I will like it because I drink the liquid creamer with coffee at home. I was excited when I saw it. No more bad coffee because I will throw a few into my bag.

I also picked up this:

I got this because its a foaming cleanser + makeup remover. I have been kinda lazy at night with makeup removal and since its cold, I don't really like using the makeup removing wipes... I will try this out for a week and see how it goes....

MAC Volcanic Ash Thermal Mask Review

I purchased a MAC Volcanic Ash Thermal Mask sometime last week from the Style Black Collection and I finally tried it today.

MAC description:

Formulated with Volcanic Ash and natural oils, this ash-black facial mask simultaneously deep-cleanses and treats the skin. When water is added, the mask heats up and the oils instantly lubricate the skin, leaving it feeling soft and clean. Helps keep skin moist, clean, soft, and evenly-textured. Limited edition.

My Thoughts:

The first thing I have to say is that I have no idea what volcanic ash smells like. When I sniffed the product, the only scent I got was ash! Nothing fruity or floral. Just ash. LOL! You only smell it if you sniff so my advice is just don't sniff! :) So I followed the instructions to apply with moist hands to still moist skin (to activate the heat) and left it on for a bit more than the instructed 5 mins. After rinsing, I felt soooooo clean and and soft. My skin was very moisturized so my pores appeared smaller too! :)

Overall, I really like the product but it felt wierd to have black stuff all over my face. It was a good thing that I did not do it in front of my husband because I think I would have scared him like when I do my sheet masks. :)

Rating: 5/5

I would and would not rebuy this product because it is a limited edition product. The price will probably be jacked up like crazy on ebay by the time I finish and I like trying new products.

I know it is only fall but it is freezing in my apartment... (I really need to work on my titles!)

Victoria Secret recently had a underwear sale but I missed it. I took advantage of the free shipping though. :) Got myself some leggings:

2 Pairs VS Leggings and 2 Pairs VS Pink Leggings. Also got a pair of Express Open Toe Tights.

I like very basic colored tights... I'm very boring but I would wear colorful socks!!

My friend said that I can use this to cook anything but I wasn't really interested until I saw this on a episode of Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations where he went to a Polish Restaurant and they really used this in almost every dish!

Creer Beaute Body Scrub Review

So a few weeks ago, I ordered these cute looking body scrubs from Sasa for less than $3 each. Please refer to this post for each scent. I can't read Japanese so I can't tell you the ingredients...

My Thoughts:

All 4 smells wonderful but the actual scrub effect is truly disappointing. The consistency of the product is very much like a very "liquidy" body wash. I can see tiny particles that are to "scrub" the skin but once I apply the product, I hardly feel as if there is scrubby things to actually exfoliate. After rinsing, my skin does not feel soft and the scent does not linger.

I rate this product a 1/5 because of of smell and packaging.... Re-buy? NOT!

MAC Mini Haul

So Mac came out with Style Black and DSQUARED2 recently... I picked up a few items. Seeing swatches online made me really want all 4 e/s but I got the more practical 2/4. I love Young Punk and Blue Fame too but I don't really see myself wearing the colors.

From the Style Black line, I picked up a Volcanic Ash Thermal Mask, Volcanic Ash Exfoliator, Greasepaint Stick in Black, and 2 Mineralize E/S in Cinderfella and Guilt By Association. From the DSQUARED2 line, I only got a Lip Erase. I got a bit lucky because the 2 Volcanic Ash items were of the last 3 and the Lip Erase (usually found in MAC Pro store) is sold out on-line.

I'm finally posting after a few weeks... Emily had tagged me but I had to do some searching. How do I see myself dressing in the future? Where do I want to go?

1. I like to read. I think it started around 4th or 5th grade when a teacher purchased American Girl books... Withing a year or so, I could read a adult novel (not kids books or young adult) in a day. Teachers that chose me to read out loud has always complained that I read tooooo fast and that I am toooooo robotic! LOL! I would love to have more time to read nowadays... BTW, my fav AG was Samantha.

I have so many subscriptions to fashion magazines, a dresser that is overflowing, and a walk-in-closet that can fit no more, full of pretty girly things but I wear the same type of clothes most of the time: a pair of jeans and a solid colored t-shirt. I own skirts and shorts but I don't like my legs so I'm actually whiter than both my White co-workers (yes, we did a comparison!!) because they don't touch day-light. I am considered very boring because I am matchy-matchy all the time but I like what I like so what can I do? I can't please everyone. A site that I buy from a lot: Shirt.Woot. 3. I love soups/stews. Even when it's 100 degrees out, I don't mind having it. I never understood how my father could drink a hot cup of tea every morning even during the summer until recently. Haha... I don't have a favorite shelf because I only have 1 shelf. I don't own many DVD's... I have a lot of Studio Ghibli films such as My Neighbor Totoro and Howl's Moving Castle. I used to have Netflix before so I never really needed to purchase an actual DVD and now I have On Demand!

3. What are your 2 favorite cookbooks?

I bought this product a few months back in the Amore Shop in Palisades Park, NJ for $20.

Doubly Reinforced, Highly Enriched Strawberry Yogurt Care

-This massage pack makes you feel the highly enriched strawberry yogurt texture without worrying about runny contents.

-Yogurt extract makes skin soft and strawberry extract gives a clean and healthy appearance.

-The larger capsule contains mineral water (with tomato, kiwi, grape, banana, an lemon extracts and essential minerals including calcium, magnesium and zinc) and lactic acid bacteria for an added nutrition and moisture to your skin.

-Vitamin E ingredients contained in the smaller capsule are absorbed into skin to make it smoother and healthier.

-Simple massaging at home turns dry skin supple and moisturized. It is recommended to keep this product refrigerated during the summer.

It is also important to know:

Strawberry:
Fruit that contains the highest concentration of Vitamin C, an anti-oxidant and helps promote production of collagen protein. Can purify pores and epidermis, softening skin and removing dullness, yellowness of skin, giving you a healthy glow.

Yogurt:
Contains Vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, protein, calcium and yeast, nourishes and repairs skin, giving it elasticity. It can also reduce pore size, improve overall skin surface and give it a healthy glow.

My Thoughts:

Smells so so so good!! I have been using this 2-3x a week this whole summer. It feels especially good on hot summer days if you have this product in the refrigerator. :) Just as the description states, I love how I do not have to worry about runny contents. It is good to have this around because sometimes I am out of yogurt or sometimes I rather eat my yogurt then slather it on my face (said by the little piggy inside of me XD). Massaging until the capsules burst feels kinda like a mini-facial which I find to be really relaxing after a long day of work. Plus, regular facial massage can help improve blood circulation and and prevent discoloration. In the end, my skin is indeed smooth, pores are visibly smaller, and skin is very plump from being moisturized. :) All these gives me a healthier complexion.

Overall, I can live without this product but it is very convenient to have around if you do not always have yogurt in the fridge. I have to say that if I did not have this product, I would not really spend so much time doing a massage on my face. I'm pretty sure that there are cheaper products that does the same things but all in one product?.

Sometime ago, I mentioned my Harvest Moon addiction here. I also mentioned that there will be 2 new games, which I have now discovered will release on November 10.

I could not find pictures of the game before but I found it on Gamestop. I usually order all my games on Amazon because I get it in 2 days and there is no tax but this time, there is no free gift with purchase on Amazon but with Gamestop. :) Wanna see?

Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands comes with a free HM pig!!!! I want it!! On the Gamestop page, it says: "Reserve Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands and receive a plush Harvest Moon pig. We know what you're thinking, and that's why we guarantee this plush is 100% swine flu free. Now you have no excuse not to buy this game." I was laughing. :) So cute!

The Amazon page mentions befriending ducks, monkeys, and badgers!!! Attention HM fans!! New animals!!! I'm squealing with joy! I can't wait to see the ducks and monkeys!!! :)

Harvest Moon: Animal Parade comes with a duck!!! Gamestop says "this cute duck doesn't contain any duck feathers, making this premium 100% irony free." It's alright to me. I'm not as interested in this game as I am for Sunshine Islands because the DS is portable.

I'm back from my parent's house and I spent the whole day trying to read up on my blog subscriptions... and cleaning.... and now trying to relax.... This post will kinda be random...

I have a thing with strong scented products... If it is too floral... I will get a headache... So, when I saw these 2 Johnson's Body Care Lotion's, I didn't even hesitate to put it into my shopping cart. It did help that it each came with a bonus Body Wash. :)

A deluxe sample of Clarins Multi-Active Day Early Wrinkle Correction Cream that I redeemed at Sephora (15mL). The SA was amazed at how big it was and so was I!!

One day this week, I had some time to kill before heading to work so I stopped by Duane Reade. This item really caught my attention. Maybe it is because of the packaging or the price ($12.99)? I could not really get a good picture of it because one of the SA were following a customer around.... I have never heard of Einstein Lip Therapy so I looked it up and found this site. I have a lucky subscription and I don't remember seeing this... Haha... No biggie. I will probably pick this up now the next time I stop by again. I can't wait! I love lip products!! :)

I have never seen this type of M&Ms before but I love it! This Limited Edition Coconut M&Ms is milder than the regular and each candy piece is bigger. Sorry, my co-workers and I ate it too fast to remember to take pictures of the actual candy. :)

So my last post was of box 1 of my sasa haul which i received last Wednesday. Box 2 supposedly arrived on Fri but no one was home so a slip was left. What I hate is that the tracking always says that a notice was left but it is never there. Another thing is that when I check the time of these attempted deliveries, there are people home!!! Since I have been away longer then I expected and the package is under my name, my husband could not pick it up for me at the local post office. I had to wait until today for them to redelivery it and I called yesterday to specifically request for redelivery for friday (which is today). The lady asked if I was going to be home the whole day and since I asked for redelivery for friday, I said yes. So I waited the whole day today and no one came so I call the post office up again. The lady (which is the superviser by the way) then tells me that I told her I was going to be home the whole day yesterday!!! WTF!?! I asked for redelivery for today!!! She then tells me that she asked me yesterday when we were talking if I was going to be home yesterday and so that they will not redeliver it. I am fuming mad. I moved from a urban area to suburban thinking that the postal service will be better but it got worse... unbelievably worse....

Does anyone have similar experiences? Or is it just my luck?

Review: La Mer Lip Balm

I could not find the exact ingredients on the box or on the pamplet but it does state that "there is nothing miraculous about its ingredients-- a blend of sea kelp, vitamins, minerals plus oils of citrus, eucalyptus, wheat germ, alfalfa, and sunflower. But the way those ingredients journeyed through a 3-4 month bio-fermentation process made all the difference between a good moisturizer and a small miracle."

My Thoughts:

This lip balm is the best that I have ever used. All the other lip products (Vaseline, Burt's Bee, MAC Lip Conditioner, Beautymaker Princess Repairing Lip Balm, etc) that I have used before only left a layer of protection to prevent water loss. It took days to see results. This lip balm does leave a layer of protection just like the others however, it softened and relieved the dryness that I was experiencing this past week with the 1st application. Also, one application lasted me for hours. Another thing I love about this product it it is minty which is refreshing to me. I love minty lip products!!

Overall, I am in love with this product. It is kind of pricey but it is definitely worth it! My only problem now is that now that I have tried this amazing lip balm, will I be able to go back and use my older lip balms? :)

I will not hesitate if I have to buy this again.

Gmarket Haul!!!!

So after work today, I rushed to the post office... When I handed the lady the yellowish slip with the tracking number, she went to go look for it. After a minute or so, I started getting scared... She couldn't find my package!!! I was crying inside! It took her some more time before she found it and she brought another package that I did not know about. My ebay purchase also arrived (I did not know it had tracking) but I'm not going to post that because I'm mad about the product... It is not like the picture...

So I went home right away and ripped open my package... I got a little bit mad again... One of the sellers I ordered from went mad with tape.... He/She taped all over some of the boxes... It took me a long time to carefully remove the tape... My mood lifted once I got to see the actual items.... :D Ready??

Hmm... I just realized I forgot to take off the plastic protective sheet when taking the pictures.... It's just a tad bit shiny looking.

These are the free gifts??? The green package with Yoona are sanitary napkins by YeJiMin, a Korean Brand. The Green Tea Body Nature are shower gels. These came free when I bought the 2 Diacut Eyes and the Diacut Cheeks. The free gifts towards the from and the right are from the Etude House seller after buying a certain amount... Freeman Facial Clay Mask Avocado & Oatmeal Review

I recently purchased a Freeman Facial Clay Mask Avocado & Oatmeal. I used it today and let me tell you what I think about it.

I paid $3.49 at Shoprite.

It actually smells pretty good. It does not really smell like avocado... I don't know what the smell is but it's not too strong...

The package says " This rich clay mask, with added oatmeal and Vitamin E, draws out excess oils and dirt, purging clogged pores, leaving your skin clean and soft."

The package also says that it "Contains Natural Ingredients". When I read the ingredients, the first thing listed is water and then complicated names are listed. This is not a good sign. I'm not going to type all the ingredients but it does contain oat and avocado oil... and many different types of alcohol.... I never had to read the ingredient's before but I have learned my lesson this time...

I do not know why, but my skin tingled (in a bad way) while waiting for the mask to dry... I do not have sensitive skin... After washing, my skin was clean but kinda dry. My pores were less visible. My skin type is normal so I really don't know why this happened. I'm not blotchy or anything... but I still don't like unknown tingliness on my face....

Will I rebuy? Nope. I probably won't even touch this tube again...

Update on my gmarket haul: I want to say gmarket ships lightning fast! I placed the order on Aug 23. My packaged was shipped to me on Aug 26 and it arrives today but I was not home (*tears*) so I will pick it up on Monday after work. I guess the ridiculous shipping price is really worth it. :D

My Daily Beauty Routine

I got tagged by the pretty Ena to do a daily beauty routine so here goes.

First up will be the items used the most in my current (Seasonal and depends on what I like at the time) Day & Night Skincare Routine .

Starting from the Left going clockwise:

1. Dove Gentle Exfoliating Daily Facial Cleansing Pillows - gentle enough to be used everyday. The cleansing pillow has 2 sides for gentle cleansing or for exfoliation.

2. Laneige Professional Makeup Remover Multi Cleanser - Makeup removing, foam cleansing and micro scrubbing. Honestly, my skin feels really clean after using this but I feel a tad bit on the dry side and the smell is a little strong...

3. The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial Wash - To help prevent blemishes.

4. Etude House Happy Teatime Peach Tea Cleansing Foam - I love the smell so this stays in the shower for the morning.

5. DHC Deep Cleansing Oil - I love this but I don't like using it around the eye area because it gives me fuzzy vision after washing... so I have #6.

6. Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover - Removes even waterproof mascara. Will probably try something else after finishing...

7. Dove SkinVitalizer - Use with #1 to better exfoliate with mechanical vibrations.

Number 1+7, 2, & 3 really depends on the weather and how much makeup I'm wearing for the day.

Starting from the Left going clockwise:

1. Shiseido Pureness Balancing Softener Alcohol Free - Used in conjuction with #2 & #6.

2. Shiseido Pureness Matifying Moisturizer Oil-Free - I use this as my day moisturizer.

3. Laneige Eye Designer Cream - I use this at night only because it is on the heavy side so it take longer to absorb.

4. Kevin Beautymaker Aquamarine Hydrating Eye Serum - I use this in the morning because it is light, hydrating, and absorbs relatively fast for faster makeup application. :D

5. Laneige Water Sleeping Pack Plus - My current love!! Last step of my nightly ritual to help lock in all the moisture at night to wake up with plump-hydrated skin.

6. DHC Platinum Silver Nanocolloid - I use this at night after

Now that I'm typing everything up, I'm beginning to think I'm being too complicated but I don't get huge breakouts... :D So I can't be too crazy!

My current Daily Makeup Routine:

1. Etude House Top 10 V-Line BB Cream with SPF 27 - I use this more often because it covers blemishes fairly well so I don't need that much concealer.

2. Laneige Snow Crystal Dual (with concealer in the top white section) Founation with SPF 22 in 23 Sand Beige

3. MAC Prep and Prime Skin Base Veil - I was told by a SA that this helps the foundation last longer... I use this when I don't use #1.

4. Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in 20 Peach Satin - I switch between this and #5.

5. TheFaceShop Illuminating Cushion Blusher 01 Pink

6. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Plus

Wow! That was long... I never realized that I use so much on a daily basis. Now I want to tag anyone who is reading to do this. It was fun reading Ena's and learning about new products. :D

So I went grocery shopping last night and picked up these 2 items that were not in the store before... Or maybe I was oblivious... Each were less then $4 so why not?

L- St. Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Scrub for Blemish & Black Head Control - I never knew that they had this formula. The tube says New Look so it is probably not new. Anyways, I used it already. It smells so good and leaves me so clean and soft. I love it!

R- Freeman Facial Clay Mask Avocado & Oatmeal - Have not tried tried this yet but is supposed to "purge pores & firm and smoothe skin". For the days when I don't have an actual avocado in my fridge.

.............last night's dinner! haha! I was a little iffy at the missing tip on the claw but I didn't want to go back to Shoprite... My husband asked me if it was still moving and I said yes. Who would buy dead lobster? It was still moving in the bag. My husband felt bad for the lobster then because I was going to butcher it ( I had to cut it up to make Cantonese Style)... I didn't take pictures of the cooking process because it was my first time cutting and cooking lobster... I was not afraid of the lobster but it was disturbing when it still moved after I separated its head from its body with the head cut in half..... End result: Yummy in the tummy!!

Harvest Moon Love

I Love Harvest Moon! It is one of my favorite games of all time next to The Sims and Final Fantasy.

This addiction first started with the Super Nintendo. Remember that system? LOL. It was the first HM that I ever played and I fell in love with it! Yes, it gets really boring sometimes because you do the same thing everyday in the game.

L- Rune Factory 2 This is not a HM game but it is by the same makers.

R- Friends of Mineral Town (GBA) I don't know where the box is... Might be in my room at my parent's house.

Because Amazon has a sale on this case, I bought another one for $4.44 shipped. Another reason is that the black cow spots on the back of the case is getting scratched up...

As of now, I am trying to collect HM games (one of the PS2 games are still in the plastic) that I have systems for. I am so wierd.

I have not finished with these yet and new ones are going to be released soon! It's never ending!!

Frantic Farming is similar gameplay to Puzzle de Harvest Moon.

Sunshine Islands will be released on November 10th for the DS. There is no picture yet.

I really suck at naming post titles.... Anyhow....

I came across a really cute nail blog! I am now looking at ordering tons of nail art supplies.... :D

Yes. I had to choose this one because I love Totoro! :D

A while back, I did a swap with Chiara and she also gave me a Kose Softymo Charcoal Nose Strip with AHA in it. I tried it and now I can't go back to Biore. I ordered a crazy amount of Pore Strips off ebay. It is not the one with the AHA in it but it is still a great pore strip. It was cheaper buying bulk: approx $20 for 6 packs which contained 10 pieces versus Biore from a local drugstore for $8 for only 6 pieces.

So I recently ordered a Studio Eyelash Curler from ELF. It is not for me.. It barely gets to my lashes.... Sigh... Do I have wierd eyes? No worries.... The shopaholic in me ordered a Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler around the same time (also from ebay) for $8.50 shipped. Haha... I thought that I could leave one home and carry one around with me... I guess not.

I also picked up a this 3-in-1 Cotton Set...mainly for the case. I got tired of going to separate packages to get things so everything in one! So until I find a cuter container for everything, this will have to do. Plus, it only cost $1.

~ New Perm ~

My first perm was in September 08. The stylist said it was only going to last me 3 months or so but with tedious hair care (with shampoo and misc styling products specifically for curls), it lasted me until March of 09 when I decided to chop off most the leftover curls. Before the cut, my hair was pretty much up to my waist. After, my hair was basically neck length...

I work with 2 girls that have naturally curly hair and I get jealous of them and them of me. Haha... We are wierd. I don't want to spend like an hour on curling every morning, that is the reason why I wanted a perm and they don't want to spend time doing straightening... Another reason for me is because now that I am wearing makeup everyday, even if it is simple makeup, I feel as if I should do something with my hair to go with the makeup instead of just washing it, brush it, and leave for where ever I am supposed to go that day.

I decided to get a perm again...

Day 1 with just some Biosilk. I hate how your not supposed to wash your hair for 2 days after the perm... ewww... I felt so nasty... I also need to touch up my roots..XD The hair color I have right now is Garnier Nutrisse 60 Acorn (the box also said light natural brown). I might just dye my hair back to dark brown.

I went back to my usual salon but the stylist who did my hair last year was not there anymore. I went to a Korean Salon... The stylist this time understood more English but that did not make things any better. Last year, the guy cut my bangs a little short for my taste. This year, she curled my bangs a tiny bit so it only goes one direction (so no pictures until I grow it out a bit and get to trim it) even though I specifically told her no when she asked me if I wanted it that way... Grr... I can never get what I want exactly when it comes to hair....

I tried taking a picture of my hair with styling products but it's not that big of a difference from day one except the curls are a bit more pronounced. And I tried like 50 times and I kept cutting off a part of my head so I don't have a good picture to post. :D

Can anyone recomment some good products to help prolong the perm? I only picked up some pantene and garnier products from the local drugstore for now....

ELF Haul

So I joined the bandwagon and placed an order with Eyes Lip Face with the 75% off the Studio Line. What kind of sucks is that I couldn't get the free shipping ($6.95) to work and I got charged tax because of the state that I live in... I still saved though with the 75% off. Anyways, I got my order today and another incident with my local USPS.... Grr....

Custom e/s in Wisteria (left) and Creme de Violet (MAC). The E.L.F. e/s actually fit in my MAC palette and it came with a magnet. I chose this because it was recommended in magazines and it is a lilac/lavender which I love. I do not like any items from the regular elf line except for some makeup brushes.

Studio Single Eyeshadow in Sand Dollar, Butter Cream, Amethyst & Charcoal.

L is Butter Cream. It is so pretty!! I don't know if it can be seen in the picture but it is shimmery pale yellow. I love it!!

Studio Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder. Some people are saying it is similar to Nars and some says not. I got this because it was cheap.

Don't really feel like taking individual pictures of each brush but I got 2 Eyeshadow C brush, a Complexion brush, a Powder brush, a Angled Foundation brush, a Contour brush (i don't know why but the package also says dome brush), a Concealer brush, a Small Angled brush, a Blush brush, and a Kabuki Face brush. I didn't get Fan brush and the Kabuki body.

I found this kind of funny. The brown was labled ivory and the medium on the the package is a peachy pink instead of a nude.

Urban Decay Mini Haul

Urban Decay recently had a friends and family sale on their website so I got a few items. I only intended to buy UDPP in Sin and fill in the rest of the order with "things" for free shipping... The regular price of the Ammo palette is $36 and the set I got was $39. So now I have an extra... I actually never got to swatch Sin because my local Sephora never had a tester out on display until after I bought the regular formula. However, I wanted it after Ena swatched it. :D

Longchamp HK LE

Months ago, when I was chatting with a friend (when she was in Hong Kong for a semester) about Longchamp, she asked me what color should she get. I didn't know what to say because I didn't think the bag was worth it... Little did I know that she got me one as a gift. I finally got my hands on this gift this week. She told me the SA said the black handle is limited edition for HK. The size is in between the small and the medium. She bought so many as gifts for people she is now VIP! :D

So my friend is leaving again this Thursday for Hong Kong and I asked her to pick up some Imju Fiberwig for me amongst some other misc things. Apparently, a few of her other friends are asking for some of the same mascara. Thanks for the hard work Vera!!! I do hope that you don't have to go to too many Sasa's for our request. :D

MAC Swatches

So this post will be about some of my recent MAC products. Here goes...

From L-R: Unbasic White (Starflash), Parrot (Frost, LE), Grand Entrance (Starflash), and Aquavert (Veluxe Pearl, LE). Parrot and Aquavert was from a swap with Chiara. It does not show in the picture but Parrot is a beautiful blueish/green. Aqauvert is a beautiful highlighter. The Starflash e/s feels so smooth and the colors are really intense (can't really see it in the picture though).

On the Left is the Suntints in Full of Grace. Honestly, I regret buying it now because even though it is the brightest pink in the collection, it still does not show up on my lips. I'm still going to use it and only because it has SPF, the texture is not too tacky, and it has convenient packaging. However, I like the Kevin Beautymaker Princess Repairing Balm that I got from iMomoko better (no SPF though). See picture here. Not only does it smell nice, it is not tacky at all, lasts for hours, and it comes in super cute container!

On the Right is the Pearlglide Eyeliner is Black Russian. It does not show in the picture but it kind of looks a bit navy to me at an angle. It applies really smooth. I love this so much that I have stopped using my MAC Fluidline this past week (also due to laziness with washing the brushes)!

I stopped by MAC recently and picked up a few items...

I got 2 e/s from the "Love That Look" Collection in Grand Entrance and Unbasic White (both starflash.) The Pearlglide Eye Liner in Black Russian is from the same line. The last item is from the "Baby Bloom" Collection in Full of Grace and it is the Suntints SPF 20 Liquid Lip Balm. Pink Tinge is a pretty light pink when I swatched it on my hand. They did not have a sample of Full of Grace out so I just chose this because I have pigmented lips and I have a lot of light pink glosses already.... I took a chance with this... I hope I will like it...

The left is Grand Entrance and the right is Unbasic White. The Starflash line is supposed to be "intense super pearly, astro-creamy, rich and frosted".

Black Russian. I like this alot because it glides on creamy smooth and it is sparkly!!

Full of Grace. Convenient tube packaging.

Upgrade!

I went to go pick up a phone the other day because I was finally eligible for an upgrade! They really didn't have much Sony Ericsson phones to choose from... Tmobile has a better selection but I cannot ever go back to that reception.... I chose the SE c905a which came out that day on the internet. The main reason I chose this is because it has 8.1 megapixels and this is the only brand that I have tried so far that allows you to use any size mp3 as a ringtone. It is a bit bulky but that does not bother me.... Yes. I am a Harvest Moon addict!

Aveeno Intense Relief Repair Cream

So Summer 08, I went with a friend to Beach Bum Tanning. It was my first time and I purchased a package... I got a package of 10 sessions for the Platinum level (3rd from the the most expensive) because the SA said that I won't burn as easily in the more expensive machines.... I did not burn until towards the end of my package and I did use a indoor tanning lotion (generously too).... That is when all my skin problems started.... My skin became so sensitive that for a while, I could not use wash clothes, body wash puff things, or anything that can possible irritate my skin further because I was in so much pain.... For the 1st week that I burned I went through 2 bottles of body lotion... and 3 bottles of facial lotion (I did not have creams then because I never needed it...). My skin eventually got a bit better... It stopped hurting me... But my skin did not go back to the way it used to be.... Throughout the winter I still had to reapply creams at least 3-4x's a day....I went through so many brands but nothing helped.... It was extremely annoying....

The cream that I found to finally help is Aveeno Active Naturals Intense Relief Repair Cream. I got it at Walmart for $12.99.

My thoughts:

The smell is oaty (is that a word?? LOL)... It reminds me of bland oatmeal... So it only has a slight smell to me. Using this cream, I really did feel relief within just one day! Within a few days, I could just apply it just once a day and I was fine. I cannot go back to using lotions anymore, even though it is Summer now..... I love this cream!!! So I would give this 5/5!

This product is one of my first Laneige items and I am in love with it. Read here about my skin trouble... I got this product from the Amore shop in Palisades Park, NJ for $20 for 80mL/2.7 FL. OZ.

-Pentavitin-R ingredient known as moisture magnet provides the sufficient hydration into skin and increases the water retaining power. It provides moisturized skin until the morning by improving water retention power inside skin.

My thoughts:

The smell is light and pleasant. This product has helped my previous dry skin into my normal skin. Now I can use lotions on my face again thanks to this Water Sleeping Pack Plus. I still use it 1x a week. Sometimes if my cheeks feel a little dry, I only apply it to that area before I apply my base makeup. Hydrated skin = happy skin! :D I definitely give this 5/5 and would buy this again!!

Why did I choose Purple as the eye color for my 1st FOTD? I don't know. Baby Blue is my favorite color yet I buy more purple than blue...

So in a recent haul from Sasa, I got my first product from Sulwhasoo - Clear Mask (설화수 옥용팩) for $34.10. Why did I get it? It is a brand under Amore Pacific which makes my current addiction: Laneige.

Not cleanly peeled but see the difference? The skin around that test area is kinda dry and shiny... The test patch is now so so soft and smooth.

MY THOUGHTS:

The smell of the mask is exactly like herbal medicine. I do not like the smell at all but it is bearable because I did drink herbal medicine while growing up. As the mask dried, I no longer noticed the scent. After peeling it off my face, my skin felt soft, smooth, and appeared to be a little brighter. I felt so clean. :D (Yes, the pictures above are of my hand but I also did my face.)

I have only tried 1 other peel off mask before and it is the Queen Helene Grape Seed Extract and that was years ago so I don't even remember how well it worked. So, yes, I would buy this again. I would have to give this item a 4/5 just because of the smell. It is great if you can stand the herbal scent.
